     Terms and conditions
 
  The following general terms of trade apply to the provision of goods and services by Ucadia (Ucadia Books Pty Ltd hereafter defined as "Ucadia") in relation to this website Universal Statistical Model. Ucadia reserve the right to amend, delete and/or update these standard terms of trade at any time without notice:  
  Hours of operation  
  Standard hours of operation for Ucadia staff is between 9am and 5pm in their respective locations. Unless otherwise pre-arranged with individual customers, all inquiries requesting contact with Ucadia staff should be conducted within these standard hours of operation. Outside of these standard hours, customers, suppliers and individuals with no formal relationship to Ucadia may at any stage make contact to the organisation via its web site.  
  Separate to standard hours of operation, Subscribers may login to their custom website securely and use the services ("Services") at any time and any day.  
  Contact to Ucadia  
  Individuals may contact Ucadia either by post, email, or using the Contact form on the website. As a general rule, Ucadia does not accept direct phone contact with Subscribers, but reserves the right to establish or decline phone contact if required.  
  The preferred method of contact with Ucadia is using the Contact form on the website. A contact made using the Contact form on this website means your contact will go directly to the appropriate person for immediate response. Generally, contacts made using the Contact form on this website will be responded to within five (5) working days. Ucadia reserves the right to respond in shorter or longer time if the need arises.  
  Where email contact is sent to Ucadia, the request is made to start the Subject heading using: "RE: U-S-M.ORG". Ucadia employs automated spam filters and virus protection. As a result, if the recommended heading is not used and email is sent, Ucadia accepts no liability if it does not receive the email, nor responds to the email contact. Generally, contact made using Email will be responded to within fourteen (14) working days. Ucadia reserves the right to respond in shorter or longer time if the need arises.  
  Transactions  
  Transactions are defined as any exchange involving either the purchase of Services from Ucadia, or the purchase of goods and services by authorized personnel of Ucadia. Ucadia accepts transactions both using secure Internet methods ("Online Transactions") as well as traditional posted methods ("Posted Transactions").  
  Ucadia reserves the right to use either Online or Posted Transactions in responding to Subscribers and Suppliers as required. The preferred method of contact for purchases of Services of Ucadia is via secure online transactions.  
  Online Transactions  
  Ucadia accepts online payments for Services using PayPal. (http://www.paypal.com). Ucadia does not store in any of its databases credit card or private bank account information of individuals or companies.  
  When purchasing any Service by Ucadia online, you will be directed to a secure PayPal login. Ucadia accepts no liability for a user in successfully subscribing to PayPal, nor the security of their own credentials in making online transaction payments to Ucadia.  
  Payments via PayPal are validated by individual users confirming the receipt number of any transaction through PayPal against their online transaction request. Ucadia accounts personnel then undertake a reconciliation on a regular basis to check payments and transactions received and sent via PayPal.  
  Ucadia reserves the right that if no receipt number is provided by a Subscriber that the requested Service is delayed until such confirmation is provided online. Ucadia shall in no way be held liable for any delay on the part of the Subscriber in notifying Ucadia of the receipt of their payments.  
  National and International transactions  
  All transactions enacted within Australia and remaining within the borders of Australia shall be considered "National" transactions for the purpose of these standards terms. All National transactions shall be in Australian ("AUD") Dollars. Where a transaction is quoted in some other currency, the total value shall be recalculated on the same day as processing to Australian currency.  
  All transactions --whether or not they originate in Australia -- that terminate outside Australia shall be considered "International" transactions. All International transactions shall be in United States ("US") Dollars.  
  Payment terms on posted invoices  
  Unless otherwise indicated, posted invoices for the provision of goods and/or services as National or International Posted Transactions are requested to be paid in full within seven (7) days of the date of issue.  
  Cancellation/return of goods/services  
  Unless otherwise indicated, at any time, within fourteen days (14) days, a customer may request for a service to be cancelled, and/or goods to be returned.  
  Cancellation/return of goods/services shall not apply to any online subscription service involving online reports or purchase of data. All requests for any cancellation/refunds for any of these services shall be rejected as the terms of purchase for such Services clearly states that once access has been provided, their is no refund nor returns.  
  In a case where Ucadia agrees to a cancellation/returns policy for a particular Service or Product, Ucadia reserve the right to charge costs incurred by Ucadia as well as any additional penalties that may apply from a third party where Ucadia act as an agent in the provision of a good and or service.After the fourteen day period, Ucadia reserve the right to review on a case by case basis, whether any refund balance is owing should a customer request the cancellation of a good/ and or service.  
  Penalties for late payment/recovery of fees  
  Unless otherwise indicated, Ucadia reserve the right to charge additional costs/penalties over an above amounts stated on outstanding payment due from a customer where payment calculated for payment within the standard period have not been received within the standard period for payment. An outstanding payment shall be deemed where the payment is at the standard seven(7) days terms, yet less than half of the payment outstanding has been received.  
  The interest rate charged shall be the same as published by the Commonwealth Bank of Australia for standard business loans and shall be recalculated on a monthly basis until payment is received. Ucadia reserve the right to determine at what point beyond the standard payment period the penalty interest rate shall be applied.  
  In addition, Ucadia reserve the right to employ third party debt recovery professionals and/or sell oustanding payment records where no indication that the outstanding amount is likely to be paid.
